Cambridge’s specialist lettings agency, Accent Property Management (part of the Leaders Group), scooped three titles at this year’s Negotiator Awards. The Cambridge-based team were named winners in the ‘Marketing Team of the Year’ and ‘Employer of the Year’ categories. Accent Property Management also won the award for ‘Independent Letting Agency of the Year’, a title it retains from 2009.
The cream of the crop from every sector of the property industry was honoured at a glittering awards ceremony in London on 10 November, organised by The Negotiator magazine in association with The Digital Property Group.
Clare Bettelley, editor of The Negotiator, says: “Congratulations to Accent Property Management on winning these awards, particularly the Independent Letting Agency of the Year title for the second year running.
“The quality of this year’s entrants has been staggering. This is testament to their efforts and those of The Negotiator in continuing to strive to further raise industry standards. The winners of this year’s 17 categories clearly demonstrated to our esteemed panel of judge’s immense professionalism, financial stability and adaptability to the current market volatility – the key attributes that The Negotiator Awards ceremony has been established to celebrate and reward.”
The trio of trophies bring to a close another chapter in Accent Property Management’s tremendous success story; founded in 1996 by Chard Robinson Group directors Stephen Chard and Neil Robinson, Accent Property Management is Cambridge’s leading letting specialist. It was sold earlier this year to the UK’s largest independent letting chain, Leaders, giving Leaders their 46th branch.
Commenting on the awards, Leaders’ managing director, Paul Weller, said: “The team at Accent, led by manager Sarah Cox, does a fantastic job and thoroughly deserves this recognition. They have built up an excellent reputation in Cambridge by providing a first-class letting and property management service and we are proud to have them as part of Leaders.”
Of the awards ceremony, which they attended, Stephen Chard and Neil Robinson said: “We are delighted that Accent Property Management is continuing its tradition for exceptional service provision, with these awards recognising that commitment, as well as the individual contributions of each and every team member during the past twelve months. Having dedicated ourselves to building Accent Property Management over the last 14 years, and worked so closely with the team there in doing so, this is a great way to round off our involvement as we head for pastures new. We wish everyone all the very best for the future.”
